How do I qualify to live at Elkwood?

Elkwood apartments in Flagstaff proudly works with all who meet our rental qualification criteria. Applicants are asked to make a pre-tax income equal to, or exceeding, 2.5 times the base rental amount per month, satisfactory credit, positive rental history, and a clean criminal history report.

If you don’t qualify due to income, you have the option of adding a guarantor or applying for The Guarantors program. Elkwood also has a limited number of income restricted units – more information can be found here.

How much is the rent?

At Elkwood, we offer spacious studios, one and two-bedroom suites to best accommodate your lifestyle. You can find the most up to date rent information by clicking Site Plan on our floorplans page.

Are utilities included in monthly rent costs?

Utilities are not included in monthly rent costs. They will vary based on usage per month, size of the suite and also number of people living in the suite.

Do you offer walk ins or are tours by appointment only? 

You can walk in or schedule a tour at Elkwood Monday – Friday from 9am to 6pm. Our community is also available for tours on Saturday from 10am-4pm. 

How do I pay rent?

As a resident of Elkwood, you will have access to an online resident portal where you can schedule one-time payment or enroll in automatic payments via the property website and our Resident Experience App. Our online payment options offer a variety of rewards via our built rewards program.

What about Parking?

Elkwood offers free parking on site and reserved, covered parking for $50 a month. We offer a parking decal to all our residents to park on site with no additional fee. Our vehicle limit is two per household. We also offer guest parking and chargers for electrical vehicles.

What amenities do you have on site?

Elkwood offers luxury and convenient amenities for a range of lifestyles. We have an expansive fitness center available for residents, two lounge rooms with games, a resident clubhouse with coffee bar, a resort-style heated pool and hot tub along with a fire pit, gas BBQs, pool side ramada and lounge lawn. Our site offers a dog park and walking trails that lead to our amphitheater and retail shops.

Are there laundry services on site?

Each residence at Elkwood comes fully equipped with a complete appliance package, including a private in-unit washer and dryer.
